Consulting services relating to health and lifestyle wellness while transitioning from military to civilian life®
My name is Mark Green, and I am a soldier for life. My life has been filled with adversity from early on, but I have learned to stay in the fight. A retired Lieutenant Colonel who started out as a private in the U.S. Army. I now devote all my time providing “Consulting services for transitioning from the military to civilian life™”, building every area of resilience in others.
I was a founding member of the Taekwondo team that went to the nationals and got the U.S. Army and was the first ever to compete as a official team. I am devoting the remainder of my career to helping those in military service, veterans, their families and others with resiliency and transition. Despite my rough start academically due to growing up in poverty with a single mom and six children, I hold a doctorate of law from Taft Law School, Santa Ana, CA, and a Master’s degree in Organizational Management and Communications from Concordia University, St Paul, MN. I am also a Jack Canfield Certified Success Principles Coach, a graduate of Boots to Business program of Syracuse University, The Army Corporate Partner (ACP) Mentorship Program, and SCORRE Speakers Training, as well as a member of Lake Nona Toastmasters.
My purpose in sharing my life story in my memoir Step Out, Step Up: Lessons Learned from a Lifetime of Transition and Military Service is to encourage others to have hope and recognize that no matter where you come from, you can achieve your dreams. In a companion book, I share the secrets to developing a mindset that boosts resiliency and smooths transitions. I’ve developed these strategies from my own experiences with my family, hard-earned lessons and education, and am developing curriculum around the second book Warriors Code 001, The Seven Vital Steps to Resilience. My wife Denise, teenage son Adam, and I live in Florida where my last assignment before retirement was as an Inspector General. As one of the nation’s top experts on military transition, I thrive on a hands on approach to help others grow through mentoring, speaking and creating transformational change.
It doesn’t take any more energy to create a big dream than it does to create a little one.
